6:31 Then he said, “May God judge me severely ¹  if Elisha son of Shaphat still has his head by the end of the day!” ²

18:18 They summoned the king, so Eliakim son of Hilkiah, the palace supervisor, accompanied by Shebna the scribe and Joah son of Asaph, the secretary, went out to meet them.

19:2 He sent Eliakim the palace supervisor, Shebna the scribe, and the leading priests, ³  clothed in sackcloth, with this message to the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz:

[6:31]  ¹ tn Heb “So may God do to me, and so may he add.”

[6:31]  ² tn Heb “if the head of Elisha son of Shaphat stays on him today.”

[19:2]  ³ tn Heb “elders of the priests.”
